AURA Protection Plan | Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 12th, 2024.

1. General Overview

The AURA Protection Plan ("Plan") offers additional warranty coverage for AURA Strap 2 ("Product") purchased through AURA Devices' official website, https://auradevices.io/. By purchasing this Plan, You agree to the terms outlined below. This Plan is only valid within the United States.

2. Coverage Scope

This Plan covers AURA Strap 2 against defects in materials or workmanship, as well as additional benefits, when used normally and in accordance with AURA’s published guidelines.

2.1. Coverage Includes:

Accidental Damage Coverage:

The Plan covers accidental damage, including drops, impacts, spills, and other unintentional events that may affect the functionality of the AURA Strap 2. For example:

  • Physical damage such as broken sensors, casing, or cracked components caused by an accident.
  • Water damage resulting from accidental submersion or exposure to liquids.

What is covered under Accidental Damage:

  • Replacement of the AURA Strap 2 if the damage affects its functionality.
  • Repair or replacement of internal components that may have been compromised due to accidental events.

Battery Exchange:

  • The Plan includes up to two battery replacements per year, if the battery retains less than 80% of its original capacity.
  • AURA experts will evaluate your battery performance and replace it free of charge if it meets the conditions above.

Fast Replacement Service:

  • In cases of damage or defect, you won’t have to wait for repairs. With the Fast Replacement Service, AURA will send you a replacement AURA Strap 2 quickly, minimizing downtime.
  • How it works: Once you report the issue and it is approved under the Plan, a replacement unit will be shipped to you immediately. You can send back the damaged unit after receiving the replacement.

Priority Support:

  • Gain immediate access to AURA experts through priority email, chat, or ticket-based email support. This ensures quicker responses and dedicated help to resolve any issues with your AURA Strap 2.
  • Priority Support includes troubleshooting, device setup assistance, and help with any performance issues you encounter.

2.2. What is Not Covered:

  • Any use of AURA Strap 2 not in line with official AURA guidelines.
  • Damage caused by abuse, misuse, corrosion, flood, fire, earthquake, or other external causes.
  • General wear and tear. The AURA Protection Plan does not cover damage or deterioration that occurs due to normal aging, regular use, or environmental exposure over time. Cosmetic damage: Scratches, dents, discoloration, or other superficial damage that does not affect the functionality of the AURA Strap 2.
  • Battery replacement service is limited to two times per year. The AURA Strap 2 operates on a single charge for up to six months with daily measurements, so two replacements per year are designed to ensure consistent and reliable performance without unnecessary replacements.
  • Accessories and consumable components (e.g., bracelets, chargers, cables) unless they were part of the original product order.
  • Software products, such as AURA Plus premium subscription.
  • Cosmetic damage, such as scratches or dents.
  • Damage caused by using the product with another device not approved by AURA.
  • Products not purchased directly from https://auradevices.io/.
  • Issues related to uninterrupted or error-free operation of AURA Strap 2.
3. Term of Coverage

This Plan is valid for a period of 12 months from the date You originally purchased Your AURA Strap 2 on AURA's website.

4. How to Access Service

To use the benefits of your AURA Protection Plan, please contact AURA Support by emailing support@auradevices.io. Ensure you have the following information ready:

  • Your AURA Strap 2 order number.
  • The serial number of the device.
5. What AURA Will Do

Under the AURA Protection Plan, AURA Devices will provide the following services:

  • Unlimited Accidental Damage Coverage: AURA will replace the product if it suffers accidental physical damage.
  • Battery Service: AURA will replace the battery, up to two times annually.
  • Instant Replacement: In the event of a defect or damage, AURA will send you a replacement product immediately without requiring the damaged product to be repaired first.
  • Priority Support: You will receive access to AURA’s priority support line.
6. Transferring the Plan

You can transfer your AURA Protection Plan to another owner of the AURA Strap 2 by contacting AURA Support at support@auradevices.io.

7. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your AURA Protection Plan at any time by contacting AURA Support. Refunds will be provided based on the following conditions:

  • Full Refund: If you cancel within 15 days of the initial purchase, you will receive a full refund, minus the value of any services already rendered under the Plan.
  • After 15 Days: If the Plan is canceled after 15 days, no refund will be issued.

Once canceled, your AURA Protection Plan cannot be reinstated, and You will not be able to purchase the Plan again for the same device.

8. Geographic Limitations

The AURA Protection Plan is available only for products purchased and used within the United States. This limitation is due to service and support availability, ensuring timely and efficient handling of replacement and repair services.

International Purchases: If you have purchased the AURA Strap 2 outside of the US, the AURA Protection Plan is not applicable. However, international customers can still benefit from the standard warranty provided at the time of purchase. AURA Devices continues to explore expanding service options to other regions, and we encourage you to check for future updates.
